Many teens choose to read Sandra Cisneros' interesting stories. Cisneros wrote an inspiring story called The House on Mango Street. This book tells the story of a young girl growing up in the Latino neighborhood of Chicago. Caramelo is about growing up poor in Acapulco. Once you start reading these stories, you can't stop. We think that Sandra Cisneros is the best Latina author because of her inspiring stories and that's why we chose her for Hispanic Heritage Month!
